In October of 2017, Kari sent Cris an electronic "wink", and the rest is history. Kari used to say, after she met Cris and the kids (Max and Mia), she went from 100 to 200 miles an hour in an instance. It has been an amazing ride for them both and they knew it was going to be forever very early on. From their first date, at a small restaurant bar on Camano Island on November 11, 2017, Cris and Kari enjoy every opportunity to find fun in the everyday and the extraordinary. In their RV, and visiting family and friends along the way, they have traveled across the US together over 13 times, visiting almost every state, accounting for over 100,000 miles. From the Bavarian town of Leavenworth in their home state of Washington, to Death Valley California, to the arches of Utah and national parks like Yellowstone, to the small towns of the Midwest like Hermann MO and Doniphan NE, to seeing alligators close up in FL, and to icons that help make this country great like the Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty in NJ/NY, and so much more. They have both found a love of motorcycles, adding to their weekday and weekend adventures (if you know, you know). Tuesday night dinners with Mia are a tradition, that has not waivered. Even though Max has moved to Florida, we still speak to him every day (and if you know Max, that means a few times a day). Cris never misses the opportunity to make Kari feel special by cooking gourmet meals, opening the car door, making modifications to her trusty steed Duke, and a simple "I love you" in the perfect moment. Kari tells everyone Cris is her perfect guy, both handsome and handy. There is nothing he can't fix or cook! He takes great care of his family, and is as steady, as honorable, and as chivalrous as they come. Cris and Kari have incredible families and friends that have been part of their 7+ year journey. Both are excited to continue the everyday and the extraordinary together with everyone they love. Thank you for being part of life's wild ride with us! Right On!
